Rapunzel's began over 25 years ago in Fairhaven, Maryland. Cathie began by doing craft shows with personalized stuffed animals that she called Cathie's Critters.  And that turned into traveling the show circuit that eventually brought the business to the New Jersey shore.

The original location for Cathie's Critters was the smallest shop on Seaport Village Pier in North Wildwood, New Jersey. Over the next decade, it grew into the 5 adjacent shops.  A Christmas shop and the Irish store, Fresh Eire, were added to the already popular craft store that features the original Cathie's Critters, Lainie's NameBanners, and other handmade items.

In 2005, Rapunzel's moved to it's new location at 2020 Boardwalk, less than two blocks north of it's old home on the Pier.  Although in a new location, Rapunzel's still offers the same old-fashioned personalized, friendly service.  Cathie and her staff look forward to seeing you again soon!
